Odyssey is an open protocol originally used by ILLiad systems to deliver electronic documents that have been requested by other institutions. Since it's original use in ILLiad it has also been implemented by additional systems including an Odyssey Standalone client made available for free.

This system facilitates testing your Odyssey implementation whether it be an ILLiad system or a custom implementation.
